What is Plantar Fasciitis?
Heel pain that occurs from repetitive pulling of the plantar fascia on the anterior, medial aspect of the calcaneus. Often the pain is worse with the first steps in the morning or after long periods of non-weight bearing and when walking barefoot. This pain typically occurs following a recent change in physical activity or change in footwear.
